Blenard Azizaj was born in Albania. He studied dance and dance pedagogy at the National State School of Greece.

After his graduation he worked and collaborated with Montreal Danse Collaboration (Montreal, Canada), Linga dance company (Lausanne, Switzerland), Steptext dance project (Bremen, Germany) and Hellenic dance company (Athens, Greece). As a teacher he works for the State school of Dance (Athens, Greece), Sasha Waltz & Guests (Berlin, Germany), Toula Limnaios Dance Company (Berlin, Germany), Roberto Zapalla School (Catania, Italy) among others.

He tours and performs in big international dance festivals in Germany, UK, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Brazil, Mexico, Quebec, Luxembourg, Norway, Italy, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Ireland, Senegal, Poland, France, Spain and Greece.

Until May 2015 Blenard danced for Akram Khan Company (Itmoi) and is currently part of Sasha Waltz & Guests (Romeo & Juliet).
In his own artistic creations he is involved with bridging contemporary dance and balkan folk dancing.
