For her first engagement, Christine Hassid joined the Batsheva Ensemble in Tel Aviv, under the direction of Ohad Naharin. She then joined the Rédha Company. She worked as a soloist and assistant to Rédha for the Alvin Ailey Dance Company (New York), the Jeune Ballet de France (Paris), the National Ballet of Amsterdam (under Wayne Eagling), and others…
The Christine Hassid Project (CHp) was founded in 2012 in Bordeaux. In 2014, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris included an excerpt from *Orphée* as part of the end-of-studies performance certificate in contemporary dance, for which Christine received first prize. Christine won an award at the 2014 Synodales, receiving one of the first prizes, the “Dantza Biarritz Special Prize.”
Starting in 2017, CHp will become the partner company of the city of Bruges (Bordeaux Métropole).
In 2017, Christine joined the repertoire of the contemporary dance company Танц Театр, directed by Oleg Petrov in Russia (Yekaterinburg), and this collaboration continued in 2018 and 2019.
In 2019, she also joined the repertoire of the Portuguese company Kale Companhia de Dança. Christine is supported by the CCN Malandain Ballet Biarritz, and she received support for the first time from the Opéra National de Bordeaux for the CHp company’s 2019 project, “N’ayez pas peur!” (Don’t Be Afraid!), which explores a feminine perspective on the world…
