Jason est un enseignant et chorégraphe en danse contemporaine, né en Belgique et ayant déménagé à Londres pour poursuivre ses études. He holds a BA (Hons) from the Rambert School and a postgraduate degree in performance from The Place in the United Kingdom.
He has created works for renowned companies such as the Holstebro Dance Company, Conny Janssen Danst, Balletboyz, and the Royal Ballet School, as well as for his own company, Jason Mabana Dance. His choreographies have been nominated for awards in Denmark, at the Asian Arts Awards, and at the Amnesty International Freedom of Speech Awards.
Jason is in high demand as a guest instructor and has taught at prestigious institutions such as Juilliard, the National Taiwan University of the Arts, NAFA, and the Royal Ballet School. Her teaching and choreography blend contemporary dance and hip-hop.
