Macarena González was born in Seville and began her training at the Professional Dance Conservatory.

From 2002 to 2006, she obtained a scholarship to complete her training and graduated from the Carmen Roche Performing Arts Center (SCAENA). Here she will have the opportunity to be part of the Carmen Roche Ballet. Productions such as “The Nutcracker”, “Romeo and Juliet” by Pascal Touzeau, “From Otello” by Goyo Montero, “Traviata” by Angel Rodriguez, are part of its repertoire.

From 2006 to 2011, Macarena González began her professional career in the Compañía Nacional de Danza and, under the direction of Nacho Duato, she danced leading roles in choreographies such as “Gnawa”, “Cor Perdut”, “Without Words “. To those already mentioned, we would add other pieces which will also be part of his repertoire: “Por vos Muero”, “Remansos”, “Arenal”, “Coming Together”, “Herrumbre”, and, finally, “Kol Nidre” , in which Duato created the main role for him.

In 2012, Macarena González began her acting training at the famous Cristina Rota school in Madrid.

From 2012 to 2017, she became a soloist at the Ballet Staatstheater in Nuremberg and, under the direction of Goyo Montero, she danced in Goyo Montero’s “Carmen”, “The Nutcracker”, “Don Juan”, “Faust”, “Cinderella”, “Cyrano” (lead role) and “Latente”. She has worked with great choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato and many others.

In 2017, Macarena González started working as a guest teacher and assistant choreographer of Goyo Montero in international schools and companies, since then she has worked at the European Ballet School in Amsterdam, at the Conservatory of Professional Dance of Seville, at the Royal Conservatory of Dance of Madrid, Junior Company EBB (Elephant in the Black Box), at the CAD (Andalusian Dance Center), Nervi International Dance Festival organized by the YAGP (Youth American Grand Prix) among others.
